There is at least one LOTR fic exchange that will be happening during the Xmas season, and there may soon be another-- you certainly won't lack opportunities there!
And it's the unfortunate experiences like yours that have forced us to take a stronger stance with drop-outs-- we don't want anyone left in the lurch!
