I was in despair over this request, I could not work out what to do with the prompts. Snow?? (not part of my life) Romance?? Much whimpering later, someone told me to just write a story and see what happened....
So I wrote them as I see them, together for 300 years, sometimes irritable with one another, sometimes bantering, always tender. Erestor about as romantic as an old boot, Glorfindel ever-hopeful, lol... and somehow the rest of the story appeared, along with snow, flowers and - briefly, very briefly - a candle. And a baby. And a whole lot of backstory that's whining now to be written.
And yes, it's a little different to my usual, though I find my style changes whenever I write these two. I ended up with something I'm very fond of, so when you tell me you liked it, I'm a bit like a proud mama hen with one chick, lol. Thank you soooo much for the lovely review, dear. I'm really thrilled you enjoyed it.
