I didn't care for 'movie Elrond', either - I mean, Hugo was fine, but the actual characterization was off. As was Faramir, but don't get me started... **grin**
The twins are a mystery to me sometimes, too. I am so glad that you don't find their love life repetitive (**snorfle**), because I am very aware of how easily smex scenes can become stale. The only explanation I can come up with is that the boys are quite imaginative! **wink**
P3 will extend at least a few years into the Fourth Age, assuming I outlive the bloody arc. I have made promises, you know. **grin**
