I really...

enjoyed this setting and timeframe, Min. Not overly much written in the Fourth Age and being the lover of Aragorn that I am it is always welcome to see his appearance in a story and the banter between he and the twins and well, Arwen and her brothers.

And Erestor! Married to a woman!) and with children! Ah - NO NO NO NO NO. Shocking, I tell you, just shocking! *snerk*

And a truer statement than this was never written. "Though all of Imladris knew the truth of the bond that Elladan and Elrohir shared, it was, as one young admirer so aptly put it difficult not to dream. - Valar, yes.

I like the way you write Aragorn - 'tis Tolkien's Aragorn! YAY. So romantic, that he wanted his children born in Imladris.

And of course, Glorfindel with his foresight "honed by both life and death".

But it made me wonder - all of those wonderful things to eat and no ginger cookies?????

I laughed at Eldarion's reasoning on the whys of "getting a sister."

"That, despite his place in their sorrows, neither the twins nor their father had ever looked on him with other than kindness and affection..."
I think my biggest pet peeve in the movies (well, other than not even mentioning the "grey company" or E/E), was the mischaracterization of Elrond and his relationship with Aragorn. Wherever was the Elrond that was "kind as summer" and who loved Aragorn as a son??? Arwen is dying. Bullshit!

Ooooh, and Elladan's "leather-covered bottom". Guh.

However do you do it??? Write them so often, in so many "love scenes", but seemingly effortlessly making each time fresh and wonderful? "Roh, he reapsed warningly, "close...close" It was the second "close" that did me in.

"the heat of Elladan's mouth..."

Oh baby - Of course I very much love your twins, but in this one I think I appreciated their interactions with others more than anything. And I think that maybe, just maybe, you gave us some um, hints (I hope) that you will continue P3 well into the Fourth Age.
